About Madison Art Club
The Madison Art Club was established by a group of 12 young artists, June 1949 at the Madison Public library. Jane Jeffrey was the first president. Their pledge: To further the art of Madison and our Club with a Bigger and Better display each year.
Monthly Membership Meetings are held at Art On Main, 309 W Main St, Madison IN on the 3rd Thursday of each month (except June and December) starting at 5:00 pm. Newcomers are welcome. For membership information, click here
Hours: Monday & Thursday-Saturday 11am-5pm. Sunday 12pm-4pm, Closed Tuesday & Wednesday

The Madison Art Club seeks to be an asset to the community, and in return we are aided by generous funding from the community and the art programs within the state. We are dedicated to making Madison a prime location for fine art in Indiana. Madison is a magnet for tourists, drawn by the rivers and hills, the beautiful architecture, the history, the small town charm and the Hoosier hospitality! Many tourists enjoy visiting art galleries and attending art festivals. In addition, the existence of an art community, along with the picturesque landscape and architecture, encourages artists from all parts of the country to make Madison their home. We are proud to play a part in making Madison a thriving community!

- Develop the skill of the artist membership.
- Publicize the activities of The Club.
- Aid in the cultural development of our community.
- Join each artist in this locale into one body having them work in unity for the betterment of each other.
- Develop the skill and interest of artists in the community outside the Club membership
